Suspension technology. This is what determines whether the trailer is fun to drive.
When it comes to the tow vehicle, it’s clear to everyone: the suspension makes the difference between “drives” and “drives well.” It’s exactly the same with a trailer—except that most people ignore it. An improperly designed suspension sways, causes the wheels to lift off the ground off-road, and will eventually damage your trailer’s body.
We design the suspension system specifically for your application and your trailer weight. Four variants, two suspension principles:
Air suspension—the comfort class
- X-Ant air suspension (bis 1000kg)
- AL-KO Enduro X-Air
Both are controlled by our “Comfort Level by X-Ant” system: height adjustment via app, auto-leveling when parked, and high ground clearance for off-road use.
Coil springs—durable and low-maintenance
- AL-KO Enduro X (1500kg - 2500kg single))
- Knott coil springs—standard 1350 kg and 1800 kg, X-Ant 1000 kg spring set, or axle load up to 1800 kg, as desired
Here is a direct comparison of what it means to adjust the suspension to the application and the trailer weight.
